Those interested in pursuing a career in nursing have two possible pathways: a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or a registered nurse (RN). The education required for each type varies. An LPN only needs a 1-year certificate or degree, but they also do not have as many nursing duties as RN's. An LPN may continue their education through either an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to become an RN. There are multiple routes which can be taken to achieve the title of RN. The following article discusses these options in depth: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/147142#becoming_a_nurse
