In Straight A Nursing’s podcast, Nurse Mo discusses 7 important things to know before you start clinicals as a nursing student. She outlines what a typical day looks like at the hospital from beginning to end, tips for better time management, important skills you will learn, and some unpleasant truths about clinicals. Nurse Mo is quite detailed in describing a day at clinical step-by-step, and much of the terminology she uses will only be familiar to someone who has been in nursing school for some time. I would only recommend this podcast to someone who is currently in nursing school and will be starting clinicals soon. Nevertheless, Nurse Mo has a lot of wisdom and experience to share with anyone curious about nursing school clinicals.
